I spent the summers of my 20’s on a ranch, tucked away in the mountains of central Montana. I’ve written about it here — it is truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been.
During my first two summers on the ranch I had the honor of working with two women who have remained two of my favorite people in the world – honest, adventurous and hilarious.
On nice days we would hang sheets to dry in the sun. To this day, hanging laundry takes me back to those summer afternoons — caught between bright cool sheets, tangled against the immense blue sky.
I saw this painting on Pinterest a few weeks ago and was transported back to those days on the ranch.
Is art a time machine for you too? Tell me how!
